That Copenhagen is something very special is apparent to those of us who live in the city, but not all visitors, tourists and international businessmen are aware of the city’s multiplicity of opportunities.

The new brand is intended to show the world that Copenhagen is a capital of countless opportunities. Here we are always open to new input, new ideas and new thinking.
It is also easy to feel at home in the Danish capital. Copenhagen is an active, pulsating city with a human face – open, welcoming and with something for everyone. The business environment in Copenhagen is ranked among the best in the world, with a high level of productivity, creativity and equality in the workplace.
Locals and tourists alike consider Copenhagen to be an open-minded, welcoming city – although we can always be better. The new brand therefore also expresses a vision: that Copenhagen be regarded as the most open capital in the world.
The aim has been to establish a brand that embraces all the good arguments in favour of Copenhagen, and which forms the basis for a common profile and joint marketing. The brand is available to everyone and is so flexible that it can be easily tailored to individual campaigns. Copenhagen is not only "Open for You", Copenhagen is also "Open for Tourists, Business, Investments, Events, Experiences, Alternatives" etc. etc.
The new brand strongly positions Copenhagen in the increasingly intense competition among the capitals of Europe to attract tourists and international business.
